sukhdi is made up of whole wheat flour ,ghee and jaggery,its my comfort food because this is my favorite and sometimes I crave for it ,its healthy as it has less of ghee made jaggery which is very good for health friends try this recipe and pls let me know how you liked it pls share in comments too

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2cups wholewheat flour
  2. 1&1/2 cup finely chopped jaggery/gud
  3. 3tbsp ghee
  4. pinch of cardmom powder
  5. little slice of almonds and pistachio

Instructions

  1. add ghee to heavy bottom pan
  2. add wheat flour
  3. roast it on slow flame
  4. if you feel flour is dry add 1tsp of ghee
  5. wheatflour will leave its aroma
  6. it will change its color to little darker
  7. take away pan from the flame
  8. add cardmom powder
  9. add jaggery and keep on mixing
  10. mix till flour and jaggery become like dough
  11. grease a plate with ghee
  12. transfer in greasd plate
  13. press with flat bowl
  14. sprinkle almond and pistachio flakes
  15. cut into desired shape
