Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Moong daal 1 cup washed
  2. Oil 2 tsp
  3. Green chilly chopped 2
  4. Gingerpaste 1/2 tsp
  5. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  6. Asafoetida 1 pinch
  7. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Red chilly powder 1/2 spoon
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Lemon juice 1/2 spoon

Instructions

  1. Clean and wash moong daal.
  2. Soak for 30 minutes.
  3. Boil the moong daal in pressure cooker with1 cup of water,salt, turmeric powder.daal should not be over cookes.
  4. In a pan add oil. Add cumin seeds.Coriander powder, chopped chilly and ginger.fry for 1-2 minute.then put salt and mix.
  5. Pour the boiled daal. And stir fry for 3-4 minute.
  6. Turn off the gas.add lemon juice.
