The Rage in kokan this green coconut based gravy with Vaal ki daal /Lima beans as its called too,are very healthy,rich source of Molybdenum,potassium,VitaminB1 ,these can be .prepared in various ways as well.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 150 grams Vaal
  2. 1/2cup coconut paste
  3. 2 green chillies
  4. 1 tspn Garlic crush
  5. 1 small onion fine chopped
  6. 1 tspn pepper
  7. 1/2 tspn cummin powder
  8. 1/4 tspn turmeric powder
  9. 1 tblspn wheat flour
  10. 2 tblspn oil
  11. Curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Keep the ingredients at hand
  2. Wash the vaal well ,keep aside
  3. Heat oil in a pot and saute curry leaves ,onions ,garlic crush, salt and turmeric
  4. Add the coconut paste
  5. Saute for 3-4 minutes
  6. Add pepper,corriander powder stir fry
  7. Add the Vaal ki daal now
  8. Add 1 1/2 cup water
  9. Cook 5 minutes
  10. Now make slurry of wheat flour
  11. Add to the Cooking vaal to thicken gravy
  12. Give 4-5 minutes boil
  13. Your gravy is ready to serve
  14. Enjoy with steamed rice or chapaati
