Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Basmati rice 11/2 cup
  2. Mustard oil 1tbspn
  3. Water 21/2 cups
  4. Carrots 2
  5. Fresh green peas 1/2 cup
  6. Soya nuggets 1/2 cup
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Coriander powder 1tspn
  9. Garam masala powder 1tspn
  10. Red chilly powder 1tspn
  11. Bay leaf 2
  12. Onion 1 med
  13. Garlic 5-6 cloves
  14. Sugar 1tspn
  15. Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Wash n soak rice for half n hour
  2. In a heavy bottom pot add mustard oil and heat
  3. Add bay leaf, sliced onions and cook till translucent
  4. Add chopped garlic and cook fir a min
  5. Add all d spices if required add some water so tht spices doesn't burn.
  6. Add soya nuggets soaked in warm water. Squeeze water before adding.
  7. Cook for sometime add green peas,carotts, sugar and salt.
  8. Cook for two min. Add rice and water. Close the lid and cook ill rice is cooked properly.
  9. Garinish with coriander leaves and serve hot
