Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. par boiled rice 1 cup
  2. urad dhal 1/4 cup
  3. Grated coconut 2 cup
  4. Fenugreek 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. soak rice , urad dhal and fenugreek for 4 hours.
  2. grind them into a smooth paste along with the grated coconut like dosa batter. clean the grinder at last and take the water separately.
  3. next morning boil the collected water separately.
  4. after fermentation the batter will be raised up.
  5. to this batter add the boiled collected batter. before making aapam add a pinch of baking soda
  6. take cocanut milk from the grated cocanut. add sugar and elachi powder to it. instead of sugar can add jaggery too. but have to boil it slightly while adding jaggery.
  7. serve hot with cocanut milk and red chilli chutney
