I make this quite often at home for my family members, a delicious and healthy breakfast option for everyone.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup yellow moong dal
  2. 1 chopped onion
  3. 1 chopped capsicum
  4. 1 chopped green chilli
  5. Paneer cubes - 2 tbsp
  6. Salt
  7. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  8. 1/4 tsp red chilli
  9. Oil

Instructions

  1. Soak dal 20 minutes.
  2. Grind with little water
  3. Beat it and add water, form a batter of pouring thick consistency.
  4. Add onion, capsicum, green chilli.
  5. Add salt and all the masalas.
  6. Stir well.
  7. Heat a non stick pan
  8. Pour little oil
  9. Pour a ladle of the mixture, spread to form the cheela.
  10. Spread chopped coriander leaves and grated paneer cubes.
  11. Cook on the bottom and flip it to cook on the other side.
  12. Cook on medium flame till done.
  13. Serve with green chutney.
