Ingredients: For dhokla -Half cup rolled oats; Half cup semolina; Half cup chopped methi leaves; 1 tsp Ginger paste; 1 tsp green chilli paste; 1 cup curd; salt as per taste; Fruit salt as required; 2 tsp Lemon juice; 2 tsp oil; For tempering - 1 tsp mustard seeds; 1 tsp Sesame seeds; 2-3 green chillies split; 4-5 Curry Leaves

ABOUT Oats methi dhokla RECIPE

Dhokla is very famous traditional breakfast from gujrat . I have added methi leaves and oats to the dhikla mix and made one healthy breakfast .

Ingredients Serving: 4

For dhokla -Half cup rolled oats
Half cup semolina
Half cup chopped methi leaves
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp green chilli paste
1 cup curd
salt as per taste
Fruit salt as required
2 tsp Lemon juice
2 tsp oil
For tempering - 1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp Sesame seeds
2-3 green chillies split
4-5 Curry Leaves

Instructions

First dry roast oats into a pan and let it Cool down. Then in a mixer grind it week and make fine powder.
In a big bowl add oats powder , semolina and curd . Mix well . Now add methi leaves,ginger green chilli paste,salt as per taste ,oil and lemon juice and mix well .
Grease one Thali or pot with oil .
Now add fruit salt to the dhokla batter . Mix gently . Immediately pour into greased Thali. Put it on steamer and steam it for about 15 minutes. Dhokla is ready . Let it Cool down and cut into small pieces.
For tempering- take one pan add 2 tsp oil , when oil is getting hot ,add mustard seeds ,sesame seeds and curry leaves. Add split green chillies. Turn off the gas . Pour this tempering on dhokla pieces . Oats methi dhokla is ready . Serve hot with green chutney.
