Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1. 2 cups oats (dry roast and grinded)
  2. 2. 2 tspn sugar
  3. 3. 1tspn salt
  4. 4. 1tspn lemon salt or nimbu ka sat
  5. 5. 1/2 tspn meetha soda
  6. 6. 3tspn oil
  7. 7. For seosoning: 1. Rai 1tspn,
  8. 2. Jeerra 1 tspn
  9. Kadi patta 5 6 leaves
  10. 4. Green chillys 4 to 5 roasted in one teaspoon oil with salt
  11. 5. Sugar 1 tspn
  12. 6 salt 1 tspn
  13. 7 coriender chopped
  14. 8. Pudina chatni

Instructions

  1. 1. In dhokla maker pour water and bring it to boil.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl add oats powder, sugar, salt, nimbu ka sat, oil and water mix well and make pouring consistency batter.
  3. 3. When water start boiling , add soda to bater and mix well til it gets flufy and pour it in greased dhokla palte . Keep it in dhokla maker for 20 minute. Mean while prepare seasoning.
  4. 4. For seasoning hot the oil in pan add rai , jeera, kadipatta to it. Add some water to it and add sugar and salt . Bring it to boil for 3 - 4 minutes.
  5. 5. Now check with knife if dhokla is ready.
  6. 6. If batter doesn't stick to it than remove it from flame..let it cool for 5 minutes.
  7. 7. Make small square shape cuts in dhokla . And pour seasoning with spoon slowly . Let it get absorbed for 10 minutes.
  8. 8. Serve hot or cold with green chillys and pudina chatni.
