Seyun Patata is a traditional Sindhi breakfast. Seyun means vermicelli and patata means potato. It is prominently prepared during weddings or festive occasions. This is a simple but sublime combination of sweet and savoury. While cooking the vermicelli utmost care should be taken to roast it to the right colour and cook it just enough. A mushy texture or overcooked soft sticky texture will ruin this dish.So be very cautious. Either the fine vermicelli or the upma vermicelli (thicker) can be used. But traditionally the fine vermicelli is used.
