Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. To marinate:
  2. 12 prawns
  3. 1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice
  4. 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. For tempering:
  7. 2 tablespoons butter
  8. 10 garlic pods
  9. Dry roast and powder it:
  10. 1 teaspoon urad dal
  11. 1 & 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds
  12. 3 red chilli
  13. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add the cleaned and de veined prawns. Add lemon juice, salt and pepper powder. Marinate it for 5 minutes.
  2. Dry roast the ingredients separately, under section "dry roast and powder it" and keep aside.
  3. In a pan, add in butter. Once it starts to melt, add in garlic (finely chopped). Fry
  4. Now add the marinated prawns. Fry it for 5 minutes.
  5. Now add a teaspoon of the powdered masala and fry for another 5 minutes.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges and onion rings.
  7. Tip - Prawns cooks soon. Fry for 5 minutes on both side. That would be enough. If not cooked then cook for 5 more minutes.
