ABOUT Indian Style Masala Cheesy Macaroni... RECIPE

Macaroni cooked in Indian style with spices and finally topped with cheese. It is a quick breakfast idea and addition of cheese is just optional. It is added to make kids love it more. Yummy cheesy breakfast idea that is a must try one.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Small shell macaroni 500 gm
  2. Onions sliced 2
  3. Oil 3 tbsp
  4. Garam masala 1 tsp
  5. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  6. Asafoetida 1/8th tsp
  7. Garlic mince 1 tbsp
  8. Tomato chilli sauce 2 tbsp
  9. Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  10. Coriander leaves chopped 1/4th cup
  11. Mozzarella shredded 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Boil macaroni with some salt and a teaspoon of oil.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a cooking pot and add asafoetida at first.
  4. Now add sliced onions and saute well until translucent for 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. Add the rest of the spices along with tomato chilli sauce.
  6. Finally add the boiled macaroni.
  7. Cover and let it cook for about 5 minutes more on a low heat.
  8. Garnish with chopped coriander and mix well.
  9. Serve hot with mozzarella cheese on top.
