ABOUT Cheesy Kheema Sewaiyan.. RECIPE

A yummy Hyderabadi super delectable thin spaghetti recipe that is loved by almost every Hydi. Cheese is added just to give it a new added look. Easy to make and just melts in mouth due to it's thin nature. These popular sewaiyan are real thin and available in kilograms in the markets.

Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. Hyderabadi Sewaiyan or vermicelli 1 kg
  2. Onions sliced 2
  3. Kheema or lamb mince 500 gm
  4. Salt 1 tbsp
  5. Oil 4 tbsp
  6. Curd (beaten) 1 cup
  7. Garam masala 1 tsp
  8. Green chillies finely chopped 3
  9. Coriander leaves chopped 1/4th cup
  10. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  11. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  12. Mozzarella or Cheddar shredded 1-2 cups

Instructions

  1. Wash lamb mince and drain well.
  2. Bring about 2 litres of water to a rolling boil along with salt.
  3. Switch off the gas and add.
  4. Cover it for a minute or two.
  5. Drain immediately otherwise they tend to become mushy.
  6. Add sliced onions to a pot with heated oil.
  7. Saute them until translucent.
  8. Add chopped green chillies and all the other spices as well.
  9. Finally add the beaten curd.
  10. Mix well and saute until the oil starts floating on top.
  11. Add the mince now.
  12. Mix well and adjust salt.
  13. Cover and cook until 8 to 10 minutes.
  14. After done, add in the boiled sewaiyan.
  15. Serve hot with cheese on top.
