This is a special breakfast dish served at Muslim marriages in the Southern Districts of Tamil Nadu. It is a simple yet flavourful dish.

Pressure cook the kheema for 10 whistles with 1/2tsp salt,chilly powder, turmeric powder and 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and 200ml water.
In a kadai saute onion with oil till it turns pink
Then add tomatoes,green chillies, mint leaves, Ginger garlic paste and saute well
Then add the remaining chilly powder, turmeric,salt , biriyani masala and stir well
Transfer this to the cooked kheema in the pressure cooker
Add the green peas
Add the coconut milk and water and adjust the spice and salt level
Once it starts boiling add the roasted vermicelli
Mix well and keep the flame in low
Cover with the cooker lid inverted
After 5 minutes all the moisture will be absorbed and fluffy kheema matar semiyaa is ready
Pour the ghee and give it a gentle stir
Serve hot with boiled egg
