ABOUT Rawa Dosa Recipe RECIPE

Crispy, flaky dosa made with semolina, rice flour and all purpose flour.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup Semolina/ Suji
  2. 1/2 Cup Rice Flour
  3. 1/2 Cup All Purpose flour
  4. Salt to Taste
  5. 1 Tablespoon Cumin Seeds
  6. 2 Green Chillies
  7. Water as necessary

Instructions

  1. In a wide mixing bowl add all the flours
  2. Chop green chillies
  3. add salt and cumin seeds to the flours
  4. add chopped chilies also
  5. mix them well.
  6. add enough water to it to make a thin batter.
  7. mix the batter so that there won't be any lumps formed in it.
  8. the batter should be thin and pouring consistency.
  9. heat the iron griddle or nonstick pan.
  10. take a small tumbler to pour the dosa batter.
  11. pour a tumbler full of batter over the hot tawa inwardly in a circular form.
  12. add a spoonful of oil and cook for a minute.
  13. once the dosa cooks, it automatically leaves the tawa in the edges.
  14. slowly flip it with the help of a spatula, and cook for one more minute.
  15. repeat the same with the rest of the batter.
