Thepla is world famous...comes from state of gujarat and very popular among gujjs and well as non gujjus.. it is famous travelling snack item as its self life is good so people prefer to carry them during their travel. Its healthy and tasty. These days we find many types of theplas palak thepla,cabbage thepla, luki thepla. Below is methi and lausn na thepla i bet you cant just eat one.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat flour 1 cup
  2. Bajri flour 2 table spoons
  3. Besan 1 spoon
  4. Methi chopped 1 cup
  5. Chopped lasun 1/2 cup
  6. Jeera 1 tea spoon
  7. Haldi 1 tea spoon
  8. Red chilly powder 1 table spoon
  9. Til 1 tea spoon
  10. Crushed green mirchi and adrak 1 tablespoon
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. Oil 2 table spoons
  13. Oil for shallow frying
  14. Water as required.

Instructions

  1. Take all 3 flour and add all masalas to it as mentioed and make dough using water.
  2. Dough should not be very soft or very hard and keep it for resting for 10 mins.
  3. Now roll out rotis and shallow fry them using oil.
  4. Cool it and store it in cool plce for 5 to 6 days.
