ABOUT Chocolate Snowballs Rum Infused RECIPE

The secret ingredient here in this recipe is rum and coconut oil. This is an easy peasy recipe and my new year special dessert. It is easy and quick to make and turns out to be a beautiful and sinful dessert.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup Coconut chopped
  2. 3 tbsps coconut oil
  3. 2 tbsps coconut milk
  4. 2 tbsps honey or maple syrup
  5. ½ tsp Vanilla essence
  6. 1 cup Chocolate chips
  7. 2-3 tbsps Rum

Instructions

  1. Add the chopped coconut, coconut milk, honey, vanilla essence and blend them in high speed till it becomes smooth. 
  2. Take a portion of the mixture and shape them into small balls.
  3. Refrigerate them till it is set. You can keep in the freezer to set it fast.
  4. Melt the chocolate with 1 tbsp coconut oil. You can use microwave to melt the chocolate or use double boiler method.
  5. Mix the rum in the melted chocolate.
  6. Take the coconut balls and dip them in the melted chocolate. Sprinkle grated coconut on top. 
  7. Refrigerate for 5-10 mins and serve.
