A very healthy breakfast of green moong daal.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Green moong daal 2 cups soaked for 1 hr
  2. Coriander leaves two handfuls
  3. Ginger 1 tbsp
  4. Green chillies 5-6
  5. Asaefotida 1/4 tsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Oil to cook

Instructions

  1. Soak green moong daal for 1 hr and then wash it nicely and strain the water.
  2. In a grinder jar take moong daal, coriander leaves, green chillies and ginger and grind all ingredients well.
  3. Add water according to the consistency of chila.
  4. Add salt and asaefotida .
  5. Take a tawa and grease it well with oil.
  6. Pour chilla batter and make a thin chilla. Apply oil at sides and cook to both sides on a medium flame.
  7. Serve hot chilas with tomato sauce and green coriander chutney.
