Boil tamarind and tomatoes by adding water in a medium high flame.Allow it to cool,extract pulp from the boiled mixture and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan,add onion,curry leaves,garlic,coriander seeds,pepper corn and cumin seeds.Fry it for 5 mins in a medium high flames.Grind it to a fine paste by adding turmeric powder and little water.
Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds,asafoetida.Let it splutter.
Add curry leaves,tamarind pulp,grinder paste,Water and salt,boil it for 5 mins in medium flame.
Switch off the stove and garnish with coriander leaves.
