Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. palak puree 1.5 cup
  2. boiled vermicelli seviyan 50 gms
  3. panner 50 gms
  4. suji 30 gms
  5. besan 3 tbsp
  6. rice flour 3 tbsp
  7. onion chopped 1 cup
  8. salt as per taste
  9. red chilli powder as per taste
  10. maggi masala 1 tsp
  11. amchur powder 1 tsp
  12. chat masala 1 tsp
  13. coriander chopped heapful
  14. green chilli paste as per taste
  15. curd thick to make batter
  16. baking soda 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. boil palak and make puree . add sugar to keep it green while boiling
  2. boil vermicelli sevviyan with salt
  3. in a bowl mix all ingredients except baking soda
  4. keep it aside for 5 mins
  5. add baking soda and lemon juice
  6. mix in one direction and pour in appam patra moulds with very little oil
  7. invert balls and roast till crispy
  8. serve with green chutney or mayo dip
