ABOUT RAYALSEEMA KODI KOORA RECIPE

Rayalseema kodi koora is an Andhra special chicken curry loaded with dried chillies spicy and yummy flavor.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chicken 1/2kg
  2. Onion 1
  3. Tomato 1
  4. Cinnamon 2 half inch
  5. Cloves 3
  6. Cardamom 1
  7. Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Oil 2tablepoon
  10. Water 1 cup
  11. For grinding paste
  12. Dried chillies 10
  13. Cashew 8
  14. Fennel seed 1 teaspoon
  15. Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Add oil in a pan on a medium heat.
  2. Add cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. Let it infuse in oil.
  3. Add chopped onion and saute till transparent.
  4. Add tomato to it. Let it cook for a minute.
  5. Add chilli powder to it and mix well.
  6. Grind cashew, chilli and fennel seed with little water.
  7. Add chicken and ground paste to the onion tomato mixture and add salt to taste.
  8. Add a cup of water and cook till oil floats above the gravy. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
  9. Rayalseema kodi koora is ready to be served with rotis or rice.
