Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Tea leaves black 2 teaspoons
  2. Milk toned 4 tablespoons.
  3. Sugar 2 teaspoons (optional)
  4. Ingredients for Tea masala(for 15 days)
  5. Lesser cardamom 50g
  6. Bigger cardamom 20g
  7. cinnamon 5 cylindrical sticks
  8. Clove..10g
  9. Black pepper 15 g
  10. Water 2 cups for making 2 cups tea.

Instructions

  1. These are the spice ingredients for making the tea masala. They are cinnamon sticks , bigger and lesser cardamom, Clove , black pepper .
  2. Grind all the dry spices in a mixer jar ..Once the masala is finely grinded store it in an air tight container ..
  3. Method of preparation of a masala Tea .Boil water in a container .
  4. Do not bring the water to the boiling point now...Add one teaspoon full of Tea masala in it...
  5. Allow the masala to infuse in the boiling water
  6. Add milk at this stage..Stir it ..
  7. Stir it properly
  8. Now add the tea leaves ..I have taken the Black CTC tea ..two teaspoons for two cups of tea..Now friends let me tell u here ..the Tea leaves should not be boiled first because they not only lose their aroma but also on boiling they lose their antioxidants property .that is preventing your cells from free radicals damage ..These radicals are produced in your body during the biochemical reactions going on inside your body ..and when these radicals react with the oxygen they start degenerating our immune system ..the body's own defense mechanism and therefore we have to take substances like Tea which is rich in Antioxidants and flavanoids ..
  9. Allow the tea leaves to infuse in decoction of milk water and spice masala by covering it and switching off the gas completely...
  10. The Aromatic masala tea is ready to drink ..pour in the cups by staining in the strainer...I have not added sugar here as sugar also tends to lower the antioxidant property of the tea and allows the caffine and tannins alkaloids to infuse more ...making your tea ineffective...
  11. Enjoy my masala tea with milk or without milk.....
