Moong dal with palak is very healthy recipe. It's not only makes the dal interesting but increase it nutritional value.
I love moong palak dal with plain rice.
Wash and finely chop spinach leaves. Add moong dal, spinach leaves to Pressure cooker and cook for 3-4 whistles
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds
Now,add pinch of hing,curry leaves and dry red chili and mix well.
Add chopped onions and saute until onions are translucent
Add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw aroma disappears
Now,add coriander powder,salt , red chili powder and mix well.
Add cooked dal,spinach and 1/2 cup water. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.
Add amchur powder and garam masala. Mix well. Simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
Moong palak dal is ready to serve!It goes good with rice or chapati
