Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Banana stems, finely chopped and boiled - 2 big cups
  2. Green peas , boiled mashed - 1 cup
  3. Potato, boiled and mashed - 1 cup
  4. Carrot boiled and mashed - 1 cup
  5. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  6. chili paste 1 tsp
  7. garlic paste 1 tsp
  8. ginger paste 1 tsp
  9. yogurt 1 cup
  10. 1 cup bread crumbs
  11. 1 beaten egg for egg wash
  12. salt to taste
  13. sugar to taste
  14. chat masala 1 tsp
  15. Juice of 1 lemon
  16. Oil for Shallow frying/Grilling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix mashed potato ,peas, banana stems, carrot and mash well. Add ginger garlic paste, chili paste, salt , sugar and turmeric powder. mix well. Add lemon juice,yogurt and breadcrumbs and mix well to form soft dough
  2. Make equal portions of dough mix. Grease palms and shape as desired
  3. Brush the kebabs with beaten egg. Shallow fry or grill kebabs until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Sprinkle chat masala and serve hot
