ABOUT Green Chili Pudding RECIPE

I have taken Green Chilies a step forward from normal Chili Pickle to Chili Dessert. This is very useful in winters. Take 2 tbsp with 1 Glass of milk in the night will keep you warm throughout the winters.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Green Chilies - 8
  2. 3 tbsp lemon juice
  3. 1 cup Clarified Butter
  4. 2 tbsp Semolina
  5. 2 tbsp Gram Flour
  6. 2 tbsp Desiccated Coconut
  7. 1 Cup Milk
  8. 1 Cup Water + For boiling
  9. 1 Cup Sugar
  10. 1/2 cup mixed nuts like Almonds, Cashews and muskmelon seeds

Instructions

  1. Wash the chilies , slit and de-seed them
  2. Boil water in a pan
  3. Now add Chilies into it and squeeze 1 tbsp lemon juice
  4. Boil for 2 minutes . Addition of lemon juice will reduce the spiciness of Chili
  5. Drain water and add fresh water to green chilies
  6. Add 1 tbsp of lemon juice and stir
  7. Boil it for 2 minutes and discard the water
  8. Repeat this process one more time and discard the water
  9. Grind chilies coarsely
  10. Melt clarified butter in a pan
  11. Now add Semolina and Gram flour and roast until aromatic
  12. Add Green Chili Paste and mix well
  13. Add Desiccated Coconut and cook for 3-4 minutes
  14. Add nuts and roast them
  15. Add 1 cup water and milk into it and stir well
  16. Now add sugar and stir continuously
  17. Cook until mixture starts leaving sides of the pan
  18. Serve hot . During winters, add 2 tbsp pudding with 1 Glass of milk in the night to help in retaining body warmth

Can I use amchur powder in the place of lemon juice?
