ABOUT Spinach Rajma Designer Parcels RECIPE

This dish went through my experimenting skills and came out with some healthy version...a very healthy snack for all as it is packed with protein and iron.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 grams of rajma (soaked overnight)
  2. 2 boiled potatoes
  3. One chopped onion
  4. Three green chilies chopped
  5. 1/4 cup Chopped coriander
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1 tsp Chat masala
  8. 1 tsp Red chili powder
  9. 1/2 tsp Roasted jeera powder
  10. 1 tsp Garam masala
  11. Oil for shallow frying
  12. For making parcels:
  13. One heaped cup of maida
  14. 1 cup Palak puree
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Water as required
  17. 2 tsp Mayonnaise or yogurt dip for garnishing
  18. 1 cup bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. In a big bowl , add boiled rajma ,potatoes, coriander chopped onion , salt, red chili powder ,chat masala and jeera powder. Mash and mix well. Add bread crumbs , if you find moisture in the mixture
  2. Add spinach puree into maida , and make a thin batter , add water if required
  3. Make tikkis from the potato mixture and coat it with breadcrumbs. Shallow fry them till golden and crisp
  4. In a squeeze bottle, pour batter and design web crepe on tawa
  5. Cook from both sides and transfer to a serving plate. Place a tomato slice at the center
  6. Keep the tikki on it and add mayonnaise on it
  7. Wrap it up as shown. Seal it with tooth pick
  8. Serve immediately
