ABOUT Veg Mint Pulav RECIPE

Mint Flavoured Vegetable Rice in south Indian style.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Basmati rice 1 cup
  2. Onion 2
  3. Chopped Cabbage handful
  4. Capsicum 1
  5. Beans 10
  6. Carrot 1
  7. Peas handful
  8. Potato 1
  9. For Seasoning Bay leaves
  10. Cloves 3
  11. Green cardamon 3
  12. Stone flower 1
  13. Cashews required
  14. For Grinding Coconut
  15. Green chillies 2
  16. Fennel seeds
  17. Ginger small piece
  18. Garlic 6 pods
  19. Mint leaves
  20. Coriander leaves
  21. Khus khus

Instructions

  1. Rinse and Soak Basmati Rice for 20 mins
  2. Take required spices
  3. Cut required Vegetables
  4. Heat Oil. Add Bay leaf, Cloves, Cardamon, Stone flower and Cashews. Saute
  5. Add finely sliced Onion. Saute
  6. Add Chopped Vegetables. Saute
  7. Add Basmati Rice.
  8. Add Fennel seeds, coconut, garlic, ginger, green chillies and khus khus in blender
  9. Add handful of coriander leaves and mint leaves
  10. Grind to thick paste.
  11. Add green paste, required salt and water. Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
  12. Veg Mint rice ready to serve
