ABOUT Chana Baraj RECIPE

Chana means black cheapens and baraj means 75% rice and 25% Chana dal. It is jain receipe & special receipe for me because it's my grandmother receipe. High nutrition value water interesting for u all.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For Chana 1 cup boiled Chana
  2. 1 tsp besan
  3. 1 Tbsp sugar
  4. 1 1/2 Tbsp lemon
  5. 1tbsp red chili powder
  6. 1tbsp dhanya powder
  7. Pinch asafoetida
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. 3 Tbsp oil
  10. For Baraj 75% rice & 25% split chanadal
  11. 1 Tbsp ghee
  12. 1 Tbsp turmeric
  13. Pinch asafoetida
  14. 1 cinnamon
  15. 1-2 clove
  16. 1 Tbsp cinnamon d clove powder
  17. Salt as per taste
  18. For Chana's pani 2 cup boiled Chana pani
  19. 1 tsp cumin
  20. Pinch turmeric
  21. Pinch asafoetida
  22. 1 tsp chopped green Chilli.
  23. 8-10 neem leaves
  24. Salt as per taste
  25. 1 Tbsp oil
  26. For garnish coriander

Instructions

  1. For Chana first of all we make Chana. Take one pan d add oil heat the oil add besan d roast it golden brown then add dry masala and add boiled Chana then add sugar and lemon. Cook 5-6 min d garnish with coriander.
  2. For Baraj take one pressure cooker add ghee then add khada masala and Pinch asafoetida then rice d split Chana dal add turmeric & salt. Then 3 whistle.
  3. For Chana water take one pan add Chana water add green chill turmeric & salt.
  4. Take other pan add oil heat the oil add cumin asafoetida, curry leaves this oil add in the Chana water. boil for few minutes. Garnish with coriander.
