Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. White chickpeas 2 cups
  2. Spinach 1 bunch
  3. Chopped onions 2
  4. Chopped tomatoes 2
  5. Green chillies 2
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Red pepper 1/4 teaspoon
  8. Chana masala 1 teaspoon
  9. Tezpatta 1
  10. Cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon
  11. Oil 4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Soak the chana overnight
  2. Boil with salt and keep aside.
  3. Clean and wash the spinach.
  4. Puree it.
  5. Heat oil in a cooker.
  6. Add tezpatta and jeera.
  7. Now add onions and cook till brown.
  8. Add tomatoes and cook
  9. Now season with salt and all the masalas
  10. Strain the chana and add in the masala
  11. Cook it until the chana mix in the masala.
  12. Now add spinach puree and stir well.
  13. Add 1 cup chana water
  14. Now cook for 1 whistle
  15. Open and serve with parantha.
