Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bengal gram flour 1 cup
  2. Raw rice flour 1/2 cup
  3. Chilly powder 1 tablespoon
  4. Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  5. Asefotida 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Turmeric powder 1/2 tablespoon
  7. Curry leaves powder 1 teaspoon
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Water to make dough
  10. Oil for frying
  11. Curry leaves for seasoning

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together like Roti dough
  2. With the help of idiyappam maker make pakkavada
  3. This is the plate that we use to make pakkavada
  4. In a deep pan heat oil and squeeze lampshade directly into the oil for frying
  5. Dry curry leaves in the same oil and add to the pakkavada
