Mushrooms stuffed with fresh bread, cheeses and spices

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1 pack of button mushrooms
  2. 3 slices of brown bread with sides removed(u can take white bread also)
  3. Zest of 1 lemon
  4. 4 to 5 garlic cloves(if small cloves large then 3 is enough)
  5. 1/2 lemon juice
  6. Salt and pepper to taste
  7. 1tbsp chilli flakes
  8. 3 to 4 full tbsp of grated processed cheese

Instructions

  1. Wash and clean the mushrooms then take out their stem and keep them aside.
  2. With the help of a tea spoon scrape of the inner side of the mushrooms so that you get a bigger space for filling. Do this process gently or else they can break.
  3. For filling you will have mushroom stems ,cheese, garlic and bread.
  4. In a chopper put the mushroom leftovers with garlic and finely chop them.
  5. In the same chopper grind the bread into fine crumbs.
  6. Now in a bowl put in the chopped mushrooms, fresh bread crumbs , grated cheese, lemon zest, juice of ½1/2 lemon , chilli flakes, salt and pepper to taste, and 2 big tbsp of olive oil.
  7. Give all a good mix with a spoon.
  8. Now pre heat the oven at 200 degrees for 10mins. Meanwhile line a baking tray with aluminium foil put generous amount of olive oil approximately 3 to 4 tbsp and nicely coat the mushrooms by rubbing them on tray.
  9. Start filling the mushrooms with the prepared filling generously . Drizzle some oil over them to get a good golden crust and bake them for 20 to 25 mins at 200 degrees.
  10. Ready to serve.....with nice golden top and juicy soft mushrooms.
