ABOUT Rice vadas RECIPE

Yummy healthy snack traditionally known as Chal Bara.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice flour 2cups
  2. Baking powder 1tsp
  3. Baking soda 1tsp
  4. Onion sliced 3tsp
  5. curry leaves
  6. Jeera 2Tsp
  7. Poppy seeds 1tsp
  8. salt 1/4 tsp
  9. Semolina 1/2 cup
  10. Oil 5tsp for frying

Instructions

  1. Take the rice flour and add water to make a thick batter.
  2. Add all the ingredients one by one and whisk thoroughly.
  3. Leave the batter for 1 hr to ferment.
  4. Now heat oil in pan and deep fry like medu vadas.
  5. Crispy Rice vadas are ready to be served with ketchup or chutney
