ABOUT Singhada flour Fritters with Potato chutney RECIPE

Ideal filling and healthy Waterchestnut flour fritters ,served with tangy tomato potato chutney,complete meal for a fasting day also a healthy snack for any day ,no garlic no onion but tastes wonderful.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For fritters :-
  2. 100 grams Singhada flour
  3. Half carrot grated
  4. 1 medium potato boiled mashed
  5. 1 green chilli fine cut
  6. Some corriander chopped
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1/tspn zeera powder
  9. 1/2tspn red chilli powder
  10. Oil to deep fry
  11. For potato chutney:-
  12. 1 big potato boiled
  13. 1 big tomato grated
  14. few curry leaves
  15. 1/2 tspn aesofetida/hing powder
  16. 1/4 tspn turmeric powder
  17. 1tspn red chilli kashmiri powder
  18. 1/2cummin corriander powder
  19. 1tspn mix cummin and mustard seeds
  20. Corriander to garnish
  21. 1 1/2 tblspn Oil ir ghee optional

Instructions

  1. Boil potato cool and mash in bowl and grate half a carrot in it
  2. Add seasoning and the Singhada flour now and mix with water
  3. Make semi solid fritter dough
  4. Mix well and keep 3-4;minutes in fridge
  5. Heat oil well and start dropping fritters keep flame medium
  6. Fry golden
  7. Remove the fried fritters as well done
  8. To make Potato chutney:-
  9. Keep ready boil mash potato
  10. Take tomato grated and curry leaves
  11. Heat oil in a kadai
  12. Heat sum water and add to the boil potato mash
  13. Add cummin mustard seeds and curry leaves ,splutter
  14. Add tomato grated with all dry spices mentioned
  15. Mix well roast for 5 minutes and add the potato mash
  16. Mix potato mash cook well for 5 minutes ,as it thickens put off gas.
  17. Remove in a bowl garnish with corriander
  18. Serve these hot and enjoy the combo
