Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ragi - 1kg
  2. Pearl millet (kambhu)-1/4kg
  3. Black rice(kavuni)-1/4kg
  4. Foxtail millet(thinai)-1/4kg
  5. Corn(cholam)-1/4kg
  6. Bamboo rice(moongil rice)-1/4kg
  7. Wheat 1/2 cup
  8. Oats -1 cup
  9. Barnyard millet(kuthiravali)-1/4kg
  10. Ground nut-1 cup
  11. Little millet(samai)-1/4kg
  12. Cashew-1/4kg
  13. Badam-1/4kg
  14. Kus kus -50gms
  15. Elaichi- 15 numbers
  16. Dry ginger -50gms
  17. Roasted gram -1/4 kg
  18. Sabudana(chow rice)-150 gms
  19. Green gram Wal-Mart 1/4 kg
  20. Boiled rice-1 cup
  21. Jaggery 1 small piece
  22. Milk 2 cups
  23. Water 2cups

Instructions

  1. Dry roast each item except jaggerry, elaichi and dry ginger
  2. Add elaichi and dry ginger to the mixture
  3. Get it grind from a mill to a fine powder
  4. In a bowl pour water and put jaggerry and melt it
  5. Strain the syrup
  6. In a bowl take 4teaspoon of powder and mix it in 3/4 glass of water
  7. Add this to the syrup
  8. Boil the mixture by stirring it continuously
  9. Add milk after it boils
  10. Serve hot.
  11. Add only pre-boiled milk. Don't boil the porridge after adding milk
