Bread kachoris are perfect snack for any party. These kachoris are simple and easy to make.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bread slices 8
  2. Boiled potatoes 5 medium
  3. Onion finely chopped 1 medium
  4. Finely chopped Cabbage 1/2 cup
  5. Grated carrot 1/2 cup
  6. Finely chopped Capsicum 1 medium
  7. Chopped coriander leaves
  8. Garam masala 1/2 tspn
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Chopped Green Chillies 2
  11. Red chilli powder 1/2 tspn
  12. Turmeric powder 1/2 tspn
  13. Coriander powder 1/2 tspn
  14. maida 200 gm
  15. oil

Instructions

  1. For filling:
  2. Heat oil in a wok, add onion and saute till it turns golden brown.
  3. Add carrot, capsicum, green chillies and cabbage. Saute it.
  4. Now add mashed potatoes.
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder and salt.
  6. Fry it and add coriander leaves.
  7. Keep it aside and allow it to cool.
  8. For dough:
  9. Mix maida, salt and 2 tbsp oil. Knead soft and smooth dough with water.
  10. Now take a phulka size dough and roll it thin and evenly like roti.
  11. Cut bread slices in circle with a katori.
  12. Put slice in the centre of maida roti and spread filling evenly on it.
  13. Fold the edges of roti like kachori.
  14. Press kachori from top softly with palms so that air escapes out from it. Deep fry.
  15. Cut kachori into two pieces and serve with sauce.
