Boil Matki dal for 15 mins till it is cooked properly

Add the cooked dal along with stalk. Add Turmeric, Hing and salt
Cover with a lid and cook the dal
Prepare a masala with handful of coconut, coriander seeds and red chillies
Add the masala to the dal and mix gently
