Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bottle gourd - 250 gms
  2. Grated cottage cheese/paneer - 100 gms
  3. Chat masala - 1/4 tsp
  4. Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  5. Chopped green chilly - 1/4
  6. Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  7. Butter - 50 gms
  8. Salt - to taste
  9. Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  10. Oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Remove the skin of the bottle gourd.
  2. Cut into two pieces and scoop it.
  3. Add salt and sugar in a water and blanch the bottle gourd.
  4. Take a bowl add cottage cheese/paneer,chat masala,salt,green chilly and coriander leaves and mix well.
  5. Stuff the cottage cheese/paneer mixture in the bottle gourd.
  6. Heat butter in a pan and grill the bottle gourd.
  7. Keep aside.
  8. For gravy
  9. Heat oil in a pan.
  10. Add whole hot spices/garam masala to crackle.
  11. Add chopped onion and stir fry for 2 - 3 mins. till transparent
  12. Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,red chilly powder,coriander powder and 2 tbsp water and mix well.
  13. Add tomato puree and finely chopped tomato and stir fry for 2 - 3 mins.
  14. Add whole dried milk/mawa and fresh cream and salt and mix well.
  15. Add 1/2 cup of water and cover it.
  16. When water comes to boil add the stuff and grill lauki
  17. Cook for 5 mins
  18. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve
