ABOUT Oriental egg muffins RECIPE

Oriental egg muffins are simple, quick and nutritious and a great breakfast option. Flavoured with Sprig's Malacca, the unique blend of spices add a wonderful taste and aroma to the muffins. I made these muffins for breakfast and everyone at home simply loved it.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 1 egg
  2. 1 bread slice
  3. 1 heaped tsp malacca spice mix
  4. 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  5. Mint and coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Take egg in a bowl.
  2. Beat well till the yolks and whites are well mixed. Tear the bread slice into small pieces and add to the beaten egg.
  3. Add Malacca spice mix to this.
  4. Mix well and then add salt
  5. Mix everything together and pour into 2 muffin moulds.
  6. Place inside a preheated oven and bake at 180 degree C for about 10 minutes.
  7. When the toothpick inserted comes out clean, your muffins are ready. Serve hot as it is or with tomato ketchup.
