ABOUT Grilled Brinjal lotus 2017 RECIPE

This grilled Brinjal lotus is mainly my Mom's thought... On one sunday as we were preparing masala for grilled chicken there was leftover masala.Next day she tried it with brinjal and asked us to keep it in microwave for few minutes.. Later we grilled and it came out so well and offlate Brinjal lotus as become favorite to all in the family.... Kids mostly don't prefer brinjal but, this healthy way of grilling with few drops of oil is healthy for all in the family... I can assure that any kid would love to eat grilled brinjal with rice or roti... Must try dish...

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Brinjal 1/4kg
  2. Sambhar powder 1tsp to 11/1tsp according to invidual taste
  3. Garam masala powder 1/4tsp
  4. Curry masala powder 1/4tsp
  5. Curd 2tsp
  6. Onion, groundnut, garlic and coriander leaves for garnish
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Oil 3 tsp

Instructions

  1. First remove the cap leaving little stalk of the brinjal.
  2. Slit the whole brinjal into six pieces with the stalk intact and place them in that salted water to avoid brinjal de colouration
  3. Mix all the powder with curd and add salt to taste
  4. Stuff the masala mixture into brinjal and leave it for five minutes..
  5. Microwave brinjal for four minutes till it becomes half done
  6. Next change the mode to grill and grill this brinjal by adding few drops of oil..
  7. Meantime fry groundnut and garlic with leftover oil and keep it ready for garnish
  8. Grill binjal for 6 minutes with break time of 3+3 to change the side...
  9. Finally serve it hot with onion rings, groundnut and beautiful aroma of garlic and coriander... It's must try recipe by all.. Before plating press the grilled Brinjal to lotus shape to please the kids...
