This is a spicy vegetable which is very tasty. Aamras and bharwan karela this combination is marvellous. And if namak mirch parantha also with this then kya kahne. Today it is not in fashion such as oil and spices but then also sometimes we want to enjoy some spicy food like this.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 karela
  2. 2 tbsp oil
  3. 1 tsp jeera
  4. Hing
  5. For stuffing--
  6. 1/2 tsp Haldi
  7. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  8. 3 tsp dhaniya powder
  9. 2 tsp amchur powder
  10. 1 tsp fennel powder
  11. 1 tsp jeera powder
  12. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  13. 1 tsp oil
  14. Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Peel or karela cut from middle and remove seeds
  2. Sprinkle haldi [turmeric powder] and salt and coat them finely to remove their bitterness
  3. Left them for at least one an hour
  4. Stuffing---
  5. Take a bowl and add all spices
  6. Mix oil and make a mixtore
  7. Wash karela 3-4 times and fill with stuffing
  8. Heat oil in cooker add jeera [cumin seeds].
  9. Then add all karela
  10. If some stuffing remains ,then add some water and give one whistle in cooker
  11. When cooled, remove it
  12. Our vegetable is ready
  13. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve
