Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Moong dal - 1 cup
  2. Salt
  3. sugar - 2 tsp
  4. 4cups maida
  5. 1 cup oil
  6. Jeera [cumin] powder - 1 tsp
  7. Dhania [coriander] powder - 1/2 tsp
  8. Lal mirch [red chilly powder] - 1 tsp
  9. Hing [asafoetida] - few pinches
  10. Fennel seeds - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Take oil into maida nd add salt nd sugar as per taste and kneed it
  2. For stuffing..... Fry dal in hot oak and then grind it. Then pour little oil into oak and then add all the spices, salt , sugar nd daal mixture and add little water and make a pest like mixture..then finally add 1 spoon ghee....
  3. Now make round pieces of the dough nd make flattened and then take stuffing into it and then close it ... finally press in middle nd make it lil flat and fry in medium hot oil till golden brown..
  4. Serve hot with chatney or ketchup.
