Its a important part of the prasad prepared during Ganesh puja/saraswati puja.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Chuda/chivda/beaten rice- 1kg
  2. Coconut - 2no(grated)
  3. Jagger/powdered sugar-350gms
  4. Ghee- 200ml
  5. Cardamom(elaichi)+pepper powder- 1/2teaspoon each

Instructions

  1. Grind the beaten rice/chivda in mixer-grinder to coarse powder.
  2. Transfer to a plate/flat surface. Add the jaggery/powdered sugar and ghee.
  3. Now comes the tough part.Rub the mixture between the fingers so that it forms a texture that resembles bread crumbs.The ghee and sugar should get mixed evenly.
  4. Add the grated coconut and elaichi-pepper powder and mix properly.
  5. It should not feel too dry. One can add more ghee if that is the case.
  6. Finally U can add any fruits of your choice like apple , bananas ,promoganete. Or even U can consume it like dat also.
