ABOUT Aloo Chuda RECIPE

A low calorie recipe for breakfast made of flattened rice.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Poha 100 gm
  2. chopped green chillies 1
  3. Potato 1 medium
  4. Curry leaves 6-8
  5. Garam masala 1/2 tspn
  6. Coriander powder 1 tspn
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Sugar 1 tspn
  9. Black mustard seeds 1 tspn
  10. Mustard oil 2 tspn

Instructions

  1. Wash poha and make it moist and soft.
  2. Thinly slice potato.
  3. Heat oil in a wok and add potatoes. Stir and cover with a lid.
  4. When potatoes are crisped take it out.
  5. In the same wok add mustard seeds. When it starts crackling add chillies and curry leaves.
  6. Add coriander powder, garam masala and mango powder. Stir and add wet poha. Stir well. Add salt and sugar.
  7. Add potatoes, Mix everything well so that sugar melts properly.
  8. Serve hot.
