ABOUT Honey Brunt Garlic Vagetable Chinese Rice RECIPE

Its a chinese vagetable rice with the flavour of honey and brunt garlic which is perfect for any party.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For Boiling rice,
  2. Basmati rice-1.5 cup
  3. Olive oil-1 teaspoon
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Black pappercorns whole(Optional)-8-10 pieces
  6. For cooking fried rice,
  7. Sesame oil-3 tablespoon
  8. Roasted Sesame seed-1 tablespoon
  9. Honey-2.5 tablespoon
  10. Soya sauce-3 teaspoon
  11. Red chilli sauce-1 teaspoon
  12. Red wine vinegar-1 teaspoon
  13. Apple cider vinegar-1 teaspoon
  14. Chilli flakes-1 teaspoon
  15. Black pepper crushed-1 teaspoon
  16. Sliced onion-1 medium size
  17. Minced garlic-5 cloves
  18. Minced ginger-1 tablespoon
  19. Carrot grated-1/2 cup
  20. French beans chopped finely-1/2 cup
  21. Sweet corn-1/3 cup
  22. Salt to taste
  23. Roasted Peanuts-3 tablespoon
  24. For garnishing, roasted sesame seed-1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Wash the raw basmati rice and soak it in water for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Boil rice with olive oil,salt to taste,whole black peppercorn.Rice should have grain and each rice will be separated and fluffy after cooking.
  3. Now strain the rice when its done and keep it aside.
  4. Take sesame oil in a wok.Allow it to heat.
  5. Add garlic and fry it until it becomes dark golden.
  6. Add onion and saute until it becomes translucent at high heat.
  7. Add ginger and saute.
  8. Add all vegetables.
  9. Add salt to taste.
  10. Toss everything in high heat for 2 minutes.
  11. Add soya sauce, red chilli sauce.
  12. Add red wine vinegar and apple cider vinegar.
  13. Add honey.Stir everything well.
  14. Add cooked rice.Give everything a good toss.
  15. Add crushed black pepper and chilli flakes.
  16. Add roasted sesame seed.
  17. Add roasted peanuts.
  18. Toss everything for couple of minutes in high flame.
  19. Turn off the flame and serve it in a plate.
  20. Garnish with roasted sesame seed.
