ABOUT Ravva(suji) laddu RECIPE

Rava laddu is simple and tasty sweet of south india.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Rava(suji) - 2cups
  2. Sugar - 2cups
  3. Milk - 1/2 cup
  4. Elaichi - 4 pods
  5. Ghee - 3 tablespoons
  6. Dryfruits - 1cup
  7. Dry coconut powder- 1/4 cup
  8. Kesar(optional) - few strings

Instructions

  1. Heat the nonstick pan and add ghee and fry the dryfruits and take out in a bowl
  2. Add rava to the ghee and fry it on the low flame till the aroma comes
  3. Careful while frying the rava as it may get burnt
  4. Grind the sugar into smooth powder
  5. Add grounded sugar to the rava and fry it
  6. Add dry coconut powder and also elaichi powder and fry it on low flame
  7. Now switch off the flame and take the rava into a plate
  8. Add fried dry fruits to rava and mix
  9. Now when the rava is little hot make it into laddus by adding little amount of warm milk to it
  10. Once the laddus are done garnish them with kesar
  11. Laddus can be stored in air tight container and they stay fresh upto 10days.
