ABOUT Chawal ke pakode RECIPE

Everybody loves the traditional snacks, "pakode", so here is a new variety of the same, made with cooked rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cooked rice - 1 cup
  2. Besan - 3 tsp
  3. Onion [chopped] - 2
  4. 2 tsp of chopped coriander leaves.
  5. 1 tsp of red chilly powder
  6. Salt
  7. Oil [for frying]

Instructions

  1. Mix besan, salt and red chilly powder, in a bowl.
  2. Now mix the cooked rice to the above, add rest of the ingredients along with required amount of water to make a thick batter, rest for sometime.
  3. Heat ample amount of oil for frying.
  4. Now drop the dumplings of the batter into the oil, fry on a medium heat, strain and serve them hot.
