Uttapam is a healthy protein filled recipe as it is made with dal, so to make it look more attractive, shaped the uttapam as a beautiful birdie for kids, and they simply loved it.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Urad daal 1 glass
  2. Rice 3 glass
  3. Capsicum 1grated
  4. Onion 1grated
  5. Tomato 1grated
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  8. Green chilli 2chopped
  9. Black pepper 1
  10. Black pepper powder 1pinch
  11. oil

Instructions

  1. Soak dal and rice in water for 4-6 hours.
  2. Grind them in mixer together.
  3. Keep it for fermentation for 8-10 hours.add salt in it.
  4. Prepare uttpam by pouring the batter in the form of one semicircle and one small circle .
  5. Add all the grated vegetables and red chilli powder over it.
  6. Make capsicum legs black pepper eye and tomato tongue .
