Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. All purpose flour - 1 cup
  2. Rava - 1/2 cup
  3. Baking powder - 1 tsp
  4. Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
  5. Salt - 1/4 tsp
  6. Suger - 3/4 cup( powdered)
  7. Lukewarm milk - 1 cup
  8. Butter - 1/4 cup(melted)
  9. Mango pulp - 1 cup
  10. Saffron strands - a few

Instructions

  1. Take all purpose flour, Rava, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a big bowl. Mix all well.
  2. Take lukewarm milk, powdered sugar, veg oil or butter, vanilla essence and Mango pulp in another bowl. Blend all till it become frothy.
  3. Soak few Saffron strands in 2 tsp milk. Add this in sugar mixture.
  4. Blend all together till it become frothy. Add this mixture in flour and mix all well.
  5. Add chopped dry fruits.
  6. Grease and dust baking mould. Put batter in cake mould and sprinkle chopped dry fruits over batter.
  7. Bake it on 200℃ for 30 minutes .
  8. Check with knife if it comes clean then cake will ready. If knife comes sticky then bake for another 5 to 6 minutes.
  9. Let it cool on wired rack and then remove cake from mould carefully.
  10. Enjoy yummy egg less Mango saffron cake.
