ABOUT Muhallabia Pudding..... RECIPE

An Arabic dessert well known for it's creamy rose flavoured pudding. Here in this variation, I have tried to present it in an innovative cake idea. Simply delicious and super easy to make it too. Do give it a try this way. I am sure your family would love to have it as a piece of yummy melt in mouth cake. Happy Cooking !!!!!!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. full fat milk 1 litre
  2. Condensed milk 1 cup
  3. Cornflour 1/2 cup
  4. Walnuts 1 cup
  5. rose water 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Bring milk to a rolling boil.
  2. Keep simmering it on low flame for the next 10 minutes.
  3. Now add the condensed milk.
  4. Mix cornflour in little water and add this slurry to the milk.
  5. Keep stirring on low flame only until the desired thickness is attained.
  6. It should be lump free and smooth.
  7. Now it's time to add the rose water.
  8. Give it a good stir.
  9. Remove it on a well greased round cake pan or any plate.
  10. Allow it to cool down a bit.
  11. Refrigerate it for atleast 30 minutes before you serve.
  12. Toast the whole walnuts in a tablespoon of butter.
  13. Serve it chilled with toasted walnuts on top and for a change, I served it with Hyderabadi Halwa Pooris. Enjoy!
