Peda is the most favorite Indian sweet. Milk peda is traditionally made with evaporated milk or with khoya, I made this recipe using very few ingredients like condensed milk and milk powder. Hope you all like this recipe.

Add saffron to the warm milk and set aside.
Heat a pan and add condensed milk.
Now add milk powder, saffron milk and mix it well.
Cook on a low flame until mixture thickens(stir continuously).
Continue to cook until mixture reaches a soft dough consistency.
Once you get the right consistency turn off the flame.
Take mixture into a plate let it cool until just lukewarm, grease mixture with a ghee and knead like a dough.
Now take some mixture and roll into a small ball of desired size, flatten lightly with your thumb/finger.
Garnish with almonds and pistachios.
Refrigerate peda in airtight container for 2-3 days.
