ABOUT MILK POWDER PEDA RECIPE

Milk powder peda is one of the popular Indian sweet. It is made in many festivals, but it can be served at any time. Try out this soft chewy Indian sweet and enjoy !

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1. Full cream Milk powder  -  2 cup
  2. 2. Sugar  -  1/2 cup ( powdered )
  3. 3. Milk  -  1/2 cup
  4. 4. Cardamom powder - 1 tspn
  5. 5. Salt  - a pinch
  6. 6. Ghee - 2 tbspn
  7. 7. Almonds sliced for garnishing  

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add milk powder and milk. Mix well.
  2. Heat a pan, in low flame add ghee and milk powder Mix. Stir well for about 5 minutes keeping the flame on low.
  3. Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder. Stir continuously in medium flame until the mixture gets thick. (This time it will get seperated from side of the pan).
  4. Switch off the flame and transfer the mix in a greased pan. Allow to cool.
  5. Scoop a tablespoon of mix and prepare a balls. Prepare a smooth and crack free balls by greasing ghee to hands. Garnish with almonds.
  6.   Delicious milk powder peda is ready. Note : - Use after 4 hours.             - Keep in room temperature for 2 days.             - Refrigerate in a air tight container to store for a week.
